Barb Drake WilsonBarb (Drake) Wilson is one for the ages.

She won the Saskatchewan junior golf championship as a teen in 1969. In 2001, at age 50, she won the Saskatchewan women's Amateur title. She double-dipped that year, also winning the provincial senior championship to join Joanne Goulet of Regina as the only women in Saskatchewan who have won the Amateur and the senior in the same year.

Wilson has won the Amateur five times. She has been the runner-up in the Amateur five other times. She won seniors five times.

Wilson has been a fixture for Saskatchewan at the national championships, qualifying for the provincial team 20 times in Amateur and senior competition.

Internationally, she played on a Canadian team against England and in a Seniors event in Ireland.

When she was a student at the University of Saskatchewan, Wilson was an all-star in basketball with the Huskiettes, finishing in the top 10 in league scoring in her senior year and reaching the league final. The Huskiettes were bronze medallists at the 1971 Canada Winter Games in Saskatoon. Wilson also competed for the university in field hockey and athletics.
