Softball

Donna VealeDonna won the Canadian senior women's softball championship as a centre-fielder with Saskatoon Harmony Centre in 1978. She also finished second, third and fourth at nationals with Harmony Centre, Lashburn Bluebirds and Vancouver Angels.

Donna played on the Canadian national team for 11 years, going to three Pan American Games and twice to the International Softball Federation world championships.

She was also a three-sport athlete at the University of Saskatchewan, competing for the Huskies in basketball, field hockey and volleyball. She was in the top 10 in career scoring in the history of the U of S women's basketball team.

As a builder, she represented softball on the Canadian Olympic Council when the sport was added to the Olympics. She has also helped to the softball program in Canada.
